Basalte has been the emblematic whisky of the Twelve distillery since its inception in 2017.

A single malt obtained from several types of casks: Pineau des Charentes, Pedro Ximénez, Cognac, red wine and new barrels.

This whisky was assembled after several years of aging in our cellars to obtain a perfect harmony of aromas as well as an optimal degree of alcohol. Basalte is bottled by gravity at 48%, unfiltered and uncolored, after several months of slow reduction.
